One of the most important things when you launch an app is to get feedback from your users.
No matter how good you are, you need to listen to your users.
This doesn't mean you have to please everyone. But you have to listen.
So today we are happy to announce the release of a new Flutter feedback template for ApparenceKit.
This is something I have used on 3 apps of my own and it has been a game-changer.
So now I am happy to share it with you.
Features vote page
The main feature of this template is the vote page.
This is where your users can vote for the features they want to see in the app.
This is a great way to know what your users want and prioritize your work.
For every features you choose to display, your users can vote.
One vote per user, per feature is allowed.
Also you can choose to let users only be able to vote for one displayed feature only.
On my apps this has been a great way to know what my users want.
👉 But the other great thing is that it is a great way to engage your users.
They feel like they are part of the app and that they can make a difference.
Features request page
The second feature of this template is the request page.
This is where your users can request new features.
These features won't be displayed on the vote page directly. As we don't want someone showing up crazy things on your vote page.
You want to filter first
🧐 Why not use a web form?
Because it is not engaging.
I have tested this for months and I saw that users don't want to open a browser. Having a form within the app seems more secure and faster.
Using this I have seen more than 300% increase in feature requests.
Not bad right?
How to install
This template will be available for all ApparenceKit users.
You will be prompted if you want to install it when you create a new project.
You will see a "feedback" module inside the lib/modules folder.

What's next?
The feedbacks you receive will be visible on the web dashboard. And you will also be able to see votes and create new votable features. You can take a look of the dashboard template
